✅ Description:

Nyclobate 0.05% Cream contains Clobetasol, a potent topical corticosteroid used to manage inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis in adults and adolescents (12 years and older). It is prescribed when these conditions have not responded to milder steroid treatments.

Conditions Treated by Nyclobate 0.05% Cream:

  • Psoriasis: An immune-mediated condition causing rapid skin cell growth, leading to patches of thick red skin and silvery scales. These commonly appear on the elbows, knees, scalp, lower back, face, palms, and soles.
  • Eczema (Dermatitis): Involves skin swelling, causing dry, itchy skin and rashes on the face, elbows, knees, hands, and feet. Scratching can worsen the redness and swelling.

Not recommended for use in patients with bacterial, fungal, or viral infections such as herpes simplex, chickenpox, or tuberculosis.

  • Inform your doctor if you have:
    • Skin infections
    • Diabetes
    • Adrenal gland problems
    • Scheduled surgery
    • Acne or plaques around the mouth, underarms, anus, or genitals
    • Liver disease

Nyclobate 0.05% Cream should only be used during pregnancy if specifically advised by your doctor.

Use with caution, as there is limited information on whether Clobetasol passes into breast milk. Avoid applying it to areas like the nipple or areola to prevent infant exposure.
